lyrics

Two Incan queens meet up at St. Isildore's
The one with the smoker's legs comes by the tracks
The other lives in a carriage house out back

Maria & Claire would cut each other's hair
Every Tuesday afternoon and then decide what to eat
They'd consult the I Ching

Two roosting crows like machines on the floor of the casino
Strumming their guitars
Sympathetic strings of love
Gandharvas from above

Oh poor Claire, from a hopeful despair
Walks to the river to drown herself there
And upon waking up from the most beautiful dream
She, on distant shore, standing there with dry feet

O Kali Ma. O Kali Ma

Two Incan queens croon the volcano to sleep
Maria with the tapping toes took to flamenco
Claire only sings boleros

(and she was singing):

"I don't want to renounce this world
I won't spin for aeons in the universe
All this wailing and gnashing of teeth
Can't you see I'm stuck here in the in-between?!"

(and Maria said):

"Look, o sweet Claire, fear is what makes the world go square
If you can't sport bliss now, in eternity what will you wear?"

Om Ram Ramaya Namaha!

Two Incan queens just drops in an endless sea
If you can learn to love yourself
You can learn to the love the Self of someone else
For those will ears to hear
